Summer Camp 2026
Join FWASMA’s Summer Music Camp for an unforgettable week of music, creativity, and connection for ages 8 to 17. This day camp runs Monday through Friday, June 22–26, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and a concert on Sunday June 28, offering students a full and engaging musical experience in a supportive and inspiring environment. Children’s choir , guitar, piano, strings and TMEA HS Choir first look. Morning /Afternoon Snacks and lunch are included.
Students entering their freshman year and older.
Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
We have put together a team of TMEA certified music educators to lead our first look summer camp and prepare your students for All-State Auditions in the fall. Our Staff looks forward to meeting your students and preparing them for a bright future in the fall of 2026.

Chris Yurasek
TMEA FIRST LOOK
Chris Yurasek has taught Choir in Texas public schools for 26 years. He is currently the Head Choir Director at Decatur High School in Decatur, TX where his program has had multiple Sweepstakes Awards and multiple All-State Choir members. Chris Yurasek is a member of TMEA, TCDA, and TMAA and has a Bachelor's degree in Choral Music Education from TCU.

Clare Yurasek
TMEA FIRST LOOK
Clare Yurasek began her career teaching private voice lessons at the middle and high school level, where her students were consistently successful in the All-Region and All-State competitions. She currently teaches middle school choir in Decatur and her ensembles have all received Sweepstakes Awards for the last 13 years, and continues to produce dozens of All-Region choir members every year. Clare graduated from TCU with a music education degree, and is a member of TMEA, TCDA, and TMAA.

Katherine “Suzie” Moyer
Camp Instructor
Creative and strategic in equal measure, Suzie brings fresh ideas to everything we do. She is the Associate Director of the Dorothy Shaw Bell Choir and will be a supporting music activity at our upcoming camp. -

Lenore Landry
Children’s Music
Lenore is a Special Education instructure with the Fort Worth ISD. She has extensive history in childhood development and music education will be assisting Artistic Director with our children’s music program assisting in choreography and percussion. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, she ensures every interaction is a positive one.
